WEBSITE TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.pecklawcorp.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Peck Law Corporation (“Peck Law,” “we,” “us” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
General Information Only
The information on the Site is provided for general informational and advertising purposes. It is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney who has considered the specific facts and law applicable to your situation.
Legal rights and deadlines can be affected by statutes of limitation and other time limits. You should not delay obtaining legal advice because of information found on the Site.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Accessing the Site, contacting Peck Law, submitting a form or receiving an initial response does not create an attorney-client relationship.
An attorney-client relationship is formed only after Peck Law has:
- Evaluated the potential representation;
- Completed any necessary conflict review; and
- Entered into a written engagement agreement signed by Peck Law and the client.
Unless and until those steps are completed, Peck Law has not agreed to represent you.
Confidential and Time-Sensitive Information
Do not send confidential, highly sensitive or time-sensitive information through the Site unless an attorney at Peck Law has instructed you to do so.
Information submitted before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. Submission of an inquiry does not prevent Peck Law from representing another person whose interests may be adverse to yours, subject to applicable professional obligations.
No Guarantee of Results
Descriptions of matters, settlements, verdicts, testimonials, reviews or other outcomes do not guarantee or predict a similar result in another matter. Every legal matter depends on its particular facts, applicable law, evidence, parties and other circumstances.
Nothing on the Site constitutes a promise, warranty or guarantee concerning the outcome of any matter.
Any discussion of contingency fees, “no fee unless recovery” arrangements or free consultations is subject to eligibility, the terms of a written engagement agreement and applicable law. Responsibility for litigation costs and expenses, if any, will be stated in the engagement agreement.
Attorney Advertising
The Site may constitute attorney advertising. It is intended to provide information about Peck Law and the legal services it offers.
The attorneys associated with Peck Law practice only in jurisdictions in which they are properly authorized. The Site is not intended to solicit representation in a jurisdiction where doing so would violate applicable professional rules or law.
Unless expressly stated together with the name of an authorized certifying organization, references to a practice area do not mean that an attorney is certified as a legal specialist in that field.
Accuracy and Completeness
Peck Law attempts to keep Site information reasonably accurate and current. Laws, regulations and legal interpretations change, however, and Site content may not reflect the most recent developments.
We do not represent or warrant that Site content is complete, accurate, current or applicable to any particular situation. Peck Law may modify, correct or remove content at any time.
Permitted Use
You may use the Site for lawful, personal and informational purposes. Subject to these Terms, you may view and print reasonable portions of Site content for your personal, noncommercial use.
You may not:
- Use the Site for an unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
- Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Site;
- Introduce malware, malicious code or automated attacks;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or associated systems;
- Harvest personal information from the Site;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- Copy, republish or commercially exploit Site content without permission; or
- Use the Site in a manner that infringes another person’s rights.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its text, graphics, photographs, logos, design, organization and other content are owned by or licensed to Peck Law and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Peck Law grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive and nontransferable right to access and use the Site in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including maps, social networks, directories and review platforms.
Peck Law does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, terms or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Website Availability and Security
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site without notice. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or harmful components.
You are responsible for using appropriate safeguards when accessing the Site.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peck Law and its attorneys, employees, contractors and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, inability to use or reliance on the Site.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. These Terms do not limit any duties Peck Law may owe to a client under a separately executed engagement agreement or applicable professional rules.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information through the Site are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute relating solely to use of the Site will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. The revised Terms will become effective when posted to the Site unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
